Waking Up Neel

Made for GMTK Game Jam 2025

Neel wants to go out of his room suddenly, but the door is locked. However, his trusty bed is with him.

Waking Up Neel is a very short 2d atmospheric game, where you try to navigate the world around you. The world is not simple, though, it moves in peculiar ways.

The bed is peculiar..........  It loops him and itself to places.....

Controls - 

1. A or left arrow to move left
2. D or right arrow to move right
3. W or Up Arrow to Interact
4. Space or Z to Jump and Forward dialog

 Known Bugs-

The dialog and interaction system can be a bit buggy if the interact and forward buttons are not pressed in exact sequence. Nothing game breaking though, just pressing interact button and forward dialog buttons  should make things continue.

All art, scripting(except the game engine itself) and game design was done in the 4 days of jam period by me (Well mostly in last 2 days hehe!)
